Melanie Kahl

Melanie Kahl serves as Principal for Design, Strategy & Facilitation at Meld Strategy, where the focus is on transformative design for purpose-driven organizations since December 2020. Kahl holds faculty positions at the School of Visual Arts and the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, teaching courses such as Service Design for Organizational Change and Life-Centered Research Methods. With extensive experience, Kahl has also contributed as Creative Leader at Neol and Senior Director & Advisor at The Design Gym, working on employee and customer experience projects. Other roles include Fractional Innovation & Strategy Officer at The David Prize and Fellow at Mira Fellowship. Kahl previously served as Director at IDEO.org, leading projects with USA for UNCHR, and as Global Program Manager at Meta, where Kahl launched impactful community programs. Kahl's education includes degrees from Northwestern University and a Service Design Certificate from the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, with an advanced certificate in progress from Union Theological Seminary.
