Dr. Hussain Aldawood

Dr. Hussain Aldawood currently serves as the Director of PMO at NEOM, leading project management standards and team performance while addressing risks and issues. Previously, Dr. Aldawood was the Director of Cybersecurity Innovation at NEOM, focusing on strategic planning and cybersecurity resilience. Additionally, Dr. Aldawood is a Member of the UN High-Level Advisory Body on AI, providing expert feedback and risk assessments. As a Member of the Global Centre for Cybersecurity at the World Economic Forum, involvement includes key cybersecurity initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Information Security Officer at Arabian Drilling and Director of Engineering & Cybersecurity at GulfNet Solutions Company Limited, along with academic positions and early career experience at Saudi Aramco. Dr. Aldawood holds advanced degrees including a PhD in Cyber Security from the University of Newcastle and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University, among others.
