Philippe Kern has extensive experience in materials science and technology, currently serving as the Director of R&D and Quality Management at Hoffmann Neopac AG since 2007, where responsibilities include technical and administrative oversight of departmental members, selection and qualification of materials, regulatory compliance for packaging across various industries, and management of development projects and customer complaints. Prior to this role, Philippe Kern was the Group Leader for Electrochemical Technology at EMPA from 2003 to 2007, a Postdoctoral Scientist at IMB Research Labs in Yorktown Heights in 2001-2002, and completed a Diploma with Nestlé as a student in 1996-1997. Philippe Kern holds a PhD in Materials Science from EPFL and a diploma in Materials Science Engineering from ETH Zürich.
