Justin F. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware design and leadership roles across multiple technology companies. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at The Canonical Art Corporation, Justin has transitioned from the role of Chief Everything Officer and is also actively involved with Nerd Nite as the Boss. As a student working on the thesis "The Canonical Art," Justin explores the complexities of the universe. Prior roles include Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Microsoft, Staff Design Engineer at Xilinx, and Design Engineer at NXP Semiconductors, with notable contributions to advanced digital IP designs, communications protocols, and artificial intelligence methodologies. Justin holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University.

We all know that learning is more fun when you’re drinking with friends and colleagues. Thus, since 2003, Nerd Nite is a monthly event held in more than 100 cities across the globe during which several folks give 18-21-minute fun-yet-informative presentations across all disciplines – while the audience drinks along. And there are often bands, acrobats, trivia, and other shenanigans as well. Imagine learning about everything from math feuds or the science of the Simpsons, to the genealogy of Godzilla or zombie insects, while having a few or a few too many. Fun, right?
