NERSC
Ben Maxwell is the NERSC Building Infrastructure Group Lead. He has a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering Mechanics and Materials from the University of California Berkeley. He is a registered California structural engineer with over a decade of experience in private practice collaborating on a wide variety of construction projects. In 2007, Ben began working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a structural engineer transitioning to project management in 2013. He joined LBNL in 2016 as a project manager and then project director of the NERSC-9 Facility Upgrade supporting the deployment of the Perlmutter system. Ben transitioned to NERSC in 2019.
