Data Science Workflows Architect at NERSC

Björn Enders is a seasoned Data Science Workflows Architect at the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC) since February 2019, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, where significant advancements were made in modernizing data acquisition and processing pipelines for scanning diffraction microscopy. Prior experience includes another Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at Berkeley Lab, adapting reconstruction algorithms for high-resolution diffraction microscopy and developing a Python package to enhance beamline scripts. Earlier, as a Research Associate at TU München, Björn focused on improving image reconstruction algorithms for coherent diffraction X-ray microscopy, particularly ptychography.
