JR Robinson has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. JR started their career as a Senior Investment Broker at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. from December 1989 to July 1996. JR then joined Citigroup - Salomon Smith Barney as a Vice President - Investments from July 1996 to June 2003. After that, they co-founded Hawaii Wealth Management in 2003 and served as the Co-Founder & Branch Manager until March 2010. In 2010, they started their own company called Financial Planning Hawaii, Inc., where they worked as a Financial Planner and Owner-Founder. In 2012, they founded Nest Egg Guru, a software company focused on creating client-facing web-based applications for financial advisors. In 2022, they also started Fee-Only Planning Hawaii and Paraplanning Hawaii as their Owner/Founder and worked as a Financial Planner at Fee-Only Planning Hawaii.
JR Robinson studied at Williams College from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
