Rosie Avolio-Toly has a diverse and extensive work experience in roles related to compliance, production management, and artisan development. Rosie is currently the Director of Compliance at Nest, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Noonday Collection as a Production Manager, where they managed significant purchases and provided training and support to business partners. From 2015 to 2016, Rosie held the position of Artisan Development Manager at Piece & Co., managing textile production projects, conducting trainings, and establishing new partnerships. Rosie also served as a Production Manager at Indego Africa from 2012 to 2013, overseeing production activities and supporting artisan women's cooperatives. Rosie's early experience includes an internship at the United Nations in the Department of Social and Economic Affairs.

Rosie Avolio-Toly completed their education in a chronological order, starting with Vashon High School from 2003 to 2007. Rosie then attended Occidental College from 2007 to 2011 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Diplomacy and World Affairs. In 2010, they also studied at Koç University for a brief period. Later, they pursued their Master of Science (MSc) in Local Economic Development at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2014 to 2015.
