Joana Murta Rosa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in programme and operations management within the international development sector. Currently serving as Programme and Operations Manager and previously as Programme Development Manager at Nesta since April 2018, Joana has a strong background in proposal development, funding acquisition, and improving Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning systems. Prior roles include Programme Funding Officer at Sense International and Development Officer at Skateistan, along with a significant tenure as Programme Officer for the Asia Pacific Youth Community Programme at Transparency International. Joana's educational credentials include a Master’s degree in International Development Studies from Utrecht University, alongside advanced training in National Security and Defense, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
