Somil Gupta

Somil Gupta is a technical expert in the dairy and nutritional beverage industries with significant experience in product development and process optimization. Currently serving as a Category Technical Application Group Specialist at Nestlé Health Science since January 2023, Somil Gupta focuses on the development of aseptic ready-to-drink nutritional beverages and oral nutritional supplements. Prior experience includes a role as Senior R&D Food Scientist at Ornua, where important contributions were made to vegan and processed cheese formulations, and a position at Dairy Farmers of America, leading optimization projects for cultured dairy products. Somil Gupta's earlier career includes managing manufacturing processes for infant nutrition products at Nestlé in India. Somil Gupta holds a Master of Science in Dairy Science from South Dakota State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Dairy Technology from the National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal.
