Steven Miao

Steven Miao is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in corporate and international tax advisory services. Currently serving as the Senior Group Tax Director at NetEase since August 2015, Steven has played a pivotal role in the company's tax strategy while it continues to lead in the online gaming and e-commerce sectors in China. Prior to this role, Steven served as a Senior Tax Manager at Deloitte, where responsibilities included providing tax and business advisory services to multinational companies. Additionally, experience at Deloitte's Perth office focused on supporting Chinese investments in Australia across various sectors. Steven's career began at Deloitte & Touche, managing key accounts for major multinational corporations in the TMT industries and analyzing tax implications for various transactions. Steven holds an MBA in Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a bachelor's degree in Accountancy from Beijing University of Technology.
