Eugene Kobyakov

Eugene Kobyakov has over 20 years of work experience in the software industry. Eugene began their career in 1996 as a Software Engineer at LPA Software, Inc. where they provided technical support for Distribution Resource Planner. From 1998 to 1999, they worked as a Senior Analyst at Automated Securities Clearance, Ltd, developing new features for Quote Management System. From 1999 to 2005, they worked at Xelus, Inc. as a Systems Analyst, leading feature development for XelusParts/XelusPlan. From 2005 to 2011 they were a Senior Software Consultant at Paychex, Xerox, and ePlus. From 2011 to 2017, they were a Software Development Manager and Principal Software Engineer at ThingWorx, a PTC Business. Most recently, they have been working as a Principal Engineer in Advanced Development at NetFoundry, developing secure overlay networks with a focus on Zero Trust and service/app/micro segmentation.

Eugene Kobyakov attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1996, studying Computer Science. Eugene then attended the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) from 1989 to 1994, obtaining a BS in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. Eugene also holds a certification in Principles of Reactive Programming from Coursera.
