Mehdi Yahyanejad

Mehdi Yahyanejad is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and entrepreneurship. As a co-founder and executive director at NetFreedom Pioneers since January 2013, Mehdi Yahyanejad focuses on developing innovative solutions to combat Internet censorship globally. Mehdi Yahyanejad has also served as a group leader at the University of Southern California's Information Sciences Institute from February 2012 to March 2025. Previously, Mehdi Yahyanejad co-founded Peachscore, acting as chief data scientist from May 2020 to May 2023, and founded Balatarin while leading as CEO from 2009 to 2018. Early career experiences include co-founding and serving as CEO at Adoptic, Inc., and holding a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University. With a robust educational background, Mehdi Yahyanejad holds a PhD in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and additional degrees from Stanford University and the University of Toronto.
