Edwin Rijgersberg

Edwin Rijgersberg is a Senior Forensic Machine Learning Engineer at the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) since April 2015, contributing to the Forensic Big Data Analytics team by developing custom data science and AI solutions for various legal stakeholders. Edwin also took on an ad interim role as Team Manager for the Forensic Digital Technology team, focusing on team coaching and mission development. Previously, Edwin led the establishment of the JenV Datalab at the Ministry of Justice and Security, worked as a Data Scientist at Greeniant on smart meter energy data, and completed internships and volunteer positions that included legal advising and teaching assistance. Edwin holds an MSc and BSc in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology and has a minor in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
