Marcel de Puit is a seasoned forensic scientist and academic with extensive experience in forensic chemistry and latent fingerprint research. Currently serving as a Sr. Scientist at the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) since August 2007, Marcel also holds the position of Associate Professor at TU Delft, where research focuses on the visualization and analysis of fingermarks. In addition, Marcel contributes as Treasurer and Board Member for EU IAI, while previous roles include Research Scientist positions at SPECS Compound Handling and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Marcel's academic credentials include a PhD and MSc from the University of Leeds and a BSc in Organic Chemistry from Hogeschool van Utrecht.
