ChangWhan Sul has a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming industry. ChangWhan began their career as a Developer at Imazic in 2000 and later joined Ludens Software, where they worked on various projects including character animation middleware and web-based applications. In 2008, they moved to NHN Corp. and served as the Head of Game Development Platform Lab. After that, they joined CJ E&M Games as the Director of the Technical Support Department. In 2012, ChangWhan joined Netmarble Games and held multiple roles including Director of Service Development Department, Director of Columbus Center, Director of Technical Project Management, and CTO. ChangWhan then transitioned to the role of CTO at Netmarble in 2019 and currently holds the position of EVP, Service Technology.
ChangWhan Sul obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, graduating in 1992. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on virtual reality from the same institution, completing it in 1994. From 1995 to 2000, ChangWhan Sul continued their education at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, specializing in computer science and computer graphics, and earning a Master of Science degree.
