C. Shawn Cartwright, MBA has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. C. Shawn currently holds the position of President and CEO at Por Vida Investments since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Netspend, starting in 2009. Their roles at Netspend include Senior Digital Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for DRTV and Video campaigns, budget pacing, and media efficiency; Digital Acquisition Manager, where they relaunched the brand, grew the social audience, and managed creative designers and copywriters; Social Media Marketing Manager, where they analyzed and optimized social media campaigns, tested and scaled Facebook ads, and developed a brand protection process; and Partner Services Team Lead, where they managed team operations, recruited and developed a high-performing team, and reengineered incentive payout and promotion processes.

From 2006 to 2009, Cartwright worked at PlainsCapital Bank as part of the Client Services team, offering various banking services. Prior to that, they were a Loan Officer at Brokers Funding from 2004 to 2005, where they trained, mentored, and led a team, exceeding monthly goals and achieving a high satisfaction rate.
