Shaun started his IT career in 1997, working 10 years for Sony Electronics and was responsible for looking after their African continent infrastructure and international connectivity. He then moved over to Vodacom South Africa where he continued expanding on his enterprise IT knowledge. In 2011 he joined Netsurit South Africa as a Solutions architect and worked in this position for 6 years before deciding to make the next step and took on the role as Support Operations manager. Throughout his 23 years security has always played a big role of his day to day function and has led to his appointment as Chief Security Officer in 2020.
