Amr Elzanaty is a software engineer with a strong background in data science and machine learning. Currently employed at Netural GmbH since March 2021, Amr previously worked as a software engineer and data scientist at Cloudflight from November 2019 to November 2020. Amr conducted a master’s thesis at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, focusing on unsupervised anomaly detection of sensor data for predictive maintenance, where advanced techniques such as deep LSTM autoencoders were implemented using Python and Keras. Earlier experience includes an internship at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) improving data management for a semantic text editor and development work on an Android application in collaboration with Delodi AG while at The German University in Cairo. Amr holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz and a Bachelor’s degree from The German University in Cairo.
