Somu Roy

Somu Roy is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the financial services and payment industries. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Network International since April 2023, Somu previously held the position of Chief Business Officer at Paymentology from August 2020 to January 2023. A notable tenure at Mastercard lasted a decade, during which Somu progressed through various leadership roles, including General Manager for Qatar, Kuwait, and Iraq, as well as Senior Business Leader for the MEA region. Earlier experience includes General Manager for Strategic Marketing and New Business Development at GE Capital - Hyundai JV, and various strategic roles at GE Money and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company. Somu holds a Master's degree in Econometrics and Financial Markets from the Delhi School of Economics.
