Chris Denham

Chris Denham is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in media relations and journalism. Currently serving as Senior Media Relations Manager at Network Rail since May 2012, Chris has played a pivotal role in managing both proactive and reactive media coverage for significant projects, including the £6.5 billion Thameslink Programme. Previous roles at Network Rail included Internal Communications Manager and Media Relations Specialist, showcasing expertise in fostering media understanding and collaboration. Prior to Network Rail, Chris worked as a Broadcast Journalist at BBC News, where responsibilities included producing news content and arranging interviews. Early career experience at KM Media Group, as well as various freelance roles, laid a strong foundation in news reporting and media development. Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree in Film and American Studies from the University of East Anglia.
