Nebyu Yonas

Nebyu Yonas is an accomplished manufacturing engineer with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector. Currently employed at Neuralink since February 2021, Nebyu has contributed to the manufacture of the N1 implant and implemented process improvements for rapid production. Prior experience includes serving as a manufacturing bioprocess technician at Genentech, where task prioritization and system operation were key responsibilities. Nebyu's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where involvement as a research assistant led to the design and fabrication of micro-sized biosensors. Additional roles, such as a peer advisor and various positions in customer service and maintenance, reflect a well-rounded skill set and commitment to efficiency and support.
