Steven Horan

Steven Horan is an experienced professional in the medical device industry, currently serving as VP of Research and Development at Neurent Medical since September 2020. Prior to this role, Steven held the position of R&D Director at Steven Horan, providing consultancy services in medical device product design and market development. From July 2006 to March 2020, Steven was the R&D Director at BTG plc (now part of Boston Scientific), responsible for the design and commercialization of the Sentry Bioconvertible IVC Filter. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior R&D Engineer at Zerusa, focusing on hemostasis products, and as an R&D Engineer at MedNova, working on carotid stents and embolic protection devices. Steven holds a B.Sc in Polymer Technology from the Technological University of the Shannon, completed in January 1997.
