Matthew Dewall

Matthew DeWall is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as the Director of Technology and Architecture at Neurocrine Biosciences since September 2023. In this role, Matthew develops and executes the technical strategy for IT systems, focusing on software, infrastructure, cloud, security, and generative AI to facilitate the company's growth. Previously, Matthew spent over a decade at Illumina, progressing through various roles, including Associate Director of DevOps Engineering, where leadership spanned global functions in automation, identity management, and project management. Matthew also managed a team of DevOps engineers in a critical environment, overseeing IT API gateway infrastructure handling over 1 million daily requests, and served as a Staff Systems Administrator focusing on identity management solutions. Prior experience includes founding Kalibri Systems, Inc., which provided a SaaS-based Windows Monitoring solution. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego.
