Emma is a Gordon College graduate with a BS in biology and a BA in political science, originally from Rochester, NY. Throughout college, she worked as a backpacking and canoeing guide with La Vida, an organization that seeks to catalyze character formation through outdoor education. In her free time, she enjoys reading fiction and poetry, visiting art museums, cooking, running, and hiking with friends.
