Erik Driscoll founded Neuroscience News in 2001 and served as the Editor in Chief. In 2010, they joined Cybertech Robotics as a Robotics Programmer, where they are involved in designing, repairing, engineering, programming, and building robots and brain-machine interfaces. Erik is also working on robotics projects related to EEG control of robots, improving efficiency in remote-controlled underground search robotic visual systems, transitioning to wireless systems, and designing insect-inspired search and rescue robots.

Erik Driscoll completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of California, Riverside in 2004. Additionally, they pursued Pre-med Biology at the University of Houston, though the specific years of study for this program are unknown.
