David Mayer

David Mayer has extensive experience in the field of information security, with a focus on red teaming, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment. David started their career at Atlantic Health in 2006 as a Support Specialist and later took on various roles, including Information Security Analyst and Security Engineer. In 2015, they joined Citi as a VP in Red Team and Penetration Testing. After three years, they moved to InGuardians, Inc. as a Senior Security Consultant and later became the Head of Red Team Operations. In 2020, David joined GRIMM (SMFS, Inc.) as the Red Team Director. Currently, they are working at Neuvik Solutions as the CIO and Managing Director of Advanced Assessments.

David Mayer earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh from 2002 to 2006. Prior to attending college, they completed their high school education at Morristown high school. David has also obtained multiple certifications throughout their career, including the OSCP certification from Offensive Security in October 2017, the GIAC Assessing and Auditing Wireless Networks (GAWN) certification from GIAC Certifications in March 2017, and the GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) certification from GIAC Certifications in May 2011, among others. In addition, they hold the Cisco Certified Network Professional certification from Cisco, obtained in March 2007.
