Sam Lieberman currently serves as a Regent for the Nevada System of Higher Education, a position held since January 2015, focused on sustaining and enhancing higher education for students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Previously, Sam held the role of Chairman for the Nevada State Democratic Party from 2007 to 2011. Sam earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, completing studies from 1980 to 1996.
