Shaena Glier

Shaena Glier is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Finance at New America since June 2017, Shaena has previously held the position of Director of Budget, Grants, and Reporting. Prior experience includes a tenure at World Relief from August 2009 to June 2017, where Shaena excelled as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, leading the grants management unit and donor services team, while also consulting on an in-house ERP system. Additionally, Shaena served as Senior Manager of Grants & Contributions and briefly as the interim Country Director and Finance Manager for the South Sudan office. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business.
