Deborah Taylor has extensive work experience in the legal and real estate fields. Deborah began their career as a Senior Paralegal at Ballard Spahr LLP in 2004 and worked there until 2012. Deborah then joined Reno & Cavanaugh PLLC as a Senior Paralegal until 2018. In 2018, Taylor transitioned to a new role as Contracts and Compliance Manager at New Energy Equity. Deborah was promoted to Senior Manager, Real Estate & Compliance in 2021 and subsequently became the Director of Real Estate & Compliance in 2023. Additionally, Taylor serves as a Member of the Board of Directors and Corporate Secretary at Lift as We Climb Foundation Inc., a New Energy Equity Foundation since 2021.
Deborah Taylor earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.), summa cum laude, in Paralegal Studies from Anne Arundel Community College in 2001. Following that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2010.

NEE successfully installed 60 MW of new solar capacity in 2018, part of an overall development portfolio of over 200MWsince 2013.
