Mik Berzins

Mik Berzins is currently the Manager of Solar Policy and Portfolio Administration at New Energy Equity, where responsibilities include the monetization of distributed generation solar energy projects, portfolio administration, and legal and public policy analysis. Previous experience includes roles as Associate Consultant and Account Manager at RE Tech Advisors, Campaign Coordinator for Dr. Dan Freilich’s congressional campaign, and involvement in science policy at the American Physical Society. Mik has a background as a professional volleyball athlete in the Dutch Eredivisie and Czech Extraliga, and has served in various research and advocacy positions, including a graduate research assistantship at Oregon State University. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law from the University of Baltimore, a Master of Public Policy from Oregon State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Environment and Natural Resources from The Ohio State University.
