Brian Tinger

Brian joined New England Biolabs in 2005, after working as a CPA for BDO, LLP, a public accounting firm in Boston, assisting audit clients across a wide array of industries. As corporate controller, Brian is responsible for the financial functions at NEB including accounting, tax compliance, treasury, credit and risk management. In 2020 Brian led the effort to achieve B Corp™ certification for NEB, and he is active in NEB’s pursuit of sustainability goals. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of CPA’s and serves as the treasurer of various local non-profit organizations. Brian graduated from American University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy, and was captain of the American University cross country team.
