David is the former CEO and founder of Reverb.com, the worlds largest marketplace for new and used musical instruments, gear and equipment. Reverb was sold to Etsy in 2019 for $275M. Prior to Reverb, David was the CEO and co-founder of OptionsXpress, a retail options trading platform that went public in 2005 and was acquired by Charles Schwab in 2012 for $1B. David is a board member of Code Nation and NAMM, and was previously a board member of the Steppenwolf Theater Company.
