Beverly Brown Ruggia is a Financial Justice Director and Advocate with long-standing experience in community development, education, and consultancy roles. Beverly has a background in sustainable community development, workforce development, and poetry program management. Beverly has also been involved in home economics and co-owning a business focusing on family and environmentally friendly products.

Citizen Action is unique in that we combine issue advocacy, organizing, and policy work with the provision of free financial empowerment programs and services to more than 15,000 New Jersey families each year.
