Mary Jane Durkin

Mary Jane Durkin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Venture Studio and Director of Entrepreneurship at the New Jersey Innovation Institute since April 2024, Mary Jane has also held significant positions at HAX as Director of Partnerships & Operations and Operations Lead from November 2021 to August 2023, and at Somni as Head of Partnerships from May 2021 to January 2022. Additionally, Mary Jane co-founded Dooena, an educational mentor matching platform aimed at enhancing workforce diversity for working women and low-income students. Prior experience includes a variety of roles at Google from July 2013 to September 2020, including Benefits Program Manager for Wellness and Mental Health and staffing services roles, as well as internships at NYC Service and Bobst SA. Mary Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from the University of Notre Dame.
