John Borgese

John Borgese has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John is currently the Associate Director of Alumni Engagement at New Jersey Institute of Technology since June 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at Rutgers University Foundation, including Director of Industry and Career Engagement and Director of Alumni Workplace Engagement. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Seton Hall University as the Director of Corporate Alumni Relations, where they initiated the Opening Doors to the Executive Suite Series. John also has experience in business development and sales management, working at Neil Cerbone Associates, Lantek Corporation, Myron Manufacturing, Dale Carnegie of Northern New Jersey, and SC International.

John Borgese completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from Villanova University between the years 1980 and 1984. Prior to that, they attended Ridley Sr. High School. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification in "Fair and Effective Interviewing for Diversity and Inclusion" from LinkedIn in the year 2022.
