Julio Angel Garcia

Julio Angel Garcia is an experienced higher education professional with a diverse background in student services and community engagement. Currently serving as the Residence Coordinator & Desk Operations Chairperson at the New Jersey Institute of Technology since November 2017, Julio has held various roles in higher education, including Program Coordinator at Rutgers University and Assistant Community Director at Montclair State University. Prior experience includes positions such as Peer Educator and Resident Assistant at Kean University, along with experience as a Zumba Instructor at multiple fitness studios. Julio holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership with a focus on Higher Education Leadership from Montclair State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Public Relations from Kean University.
