Tran Cheung

Tran Cheung currently serves as the Director of IT Risk Compliance and Governance at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, a position held since October 2024, focusing on ensuring IT activities align with legal and institutional policies. Prior to this role, Tran Cheung was the IT Audit Manager for Information Security at Princeton University from November 2021 to October 2024, providing assurance and advisory services in Information Security and IT Operations. Tran Cheung's earlier experience includes serving as Principal of Information Security at Mathematica from August 2003 to November 2021, where responsibilities included directing IT security for the Human Services Business Unit and advising on security and privacy regulations for various clients. Additionally, Tran Cheung worked as a Database Administrator for Topaz International, Inc. from August 2001 to June 2003. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Rutgers Business School and a BS in Management Science and Information Systems from Rutgers University.
