Christopher Trucillo

Christopher Trucillo serves as the Senior Vice President, Chief of Police & Office of Emergency Management at NJ TRANSIT since July 2010, overseeing the safety and security of up to 1 million daily users of one of the largest transportation systems in the United States. This role includes collaboration with local, county, state, and federal authorities to coordinate emergency procedures and establish a secure environment. Christopher Trucillo has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor of Police Graduate Studies at Seton Hall University from January 2009 to May 2021, and previously held the position of Director of Public Safety at John Jay College (CUNY) from May 2009 to July 2010. Earlier in the career, Christopher Trucillo was the Chief of Department at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey from February 2004 to October 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Rutgers University - Newark and a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University - School of Criminal Justice.
