Xianjue Deng

Xianjue Deng currently serves as an Assistant Professor at New Mexico State University since August 2025. Prior to this position, Xianjue Deng was a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC San Diego from September 2023 to August 2025 and a Simulation Engineer at Cronus Technology, Inc. from February 2023 to September 2023. Xianjue Deng's academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Structural Engineering obtained from The University of Texas at Austin in 2022, following a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the same institution in 2020. Earlier academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Southeast University, completed in 2018. Additionally, Xianjue Deng gained practical experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from October 2018 to December 2022 and as an Engineering Intern with China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group Co., Ltd. during the summer of 2017.
