New Narrative
Sophie Baker is a dedicated mental health clinician and advocate with extensive experience in mental health support and crisis intervention. Currently serving at New Narrative since September 2022, Sophie provides essential mental health services across multiple residential treatment homes and offers guidance on trauma-informed care to residential support staff. Prior to this, Sophie coordinated orientation programs at the University of New Hampshire from April 2019 to July 2022, and completed a field internship at YWCA USA, assisting victims of domestic and sexual violence. Additionally, experience as a resident assistant and in various operational roles at the university underlines Sophie's commitment to student support and community engagement. Sophie holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Pacific University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Women’s Studies from the University of New Hampshire.
