Joshua Howgego

Joshua Howgego has extensive experience in science journalism, currently serving as Acting Head of Features and previously as Deputy Head of Features and Features Editor at New Scientist since May 2015. Prior to this role, Joshua held the position of Deputy News and Opinions Editor at SciDev.Net from September 2013 to May 2015 and worked as a freelance science journalist from August 2011 to May 2015, contributing feature articles to Education in Chemistry magazine. Educational accomplishments include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bristol and a MSc in Science Communication from Imperial College London. Joshua's early career includes internships at Imperial College London, Nature Publishing Group, and a writing internship with the Royal Society of Chemistry.
