New Visions for Public Schools
Erik Laby is a Senior Data Manager at New Visions for Public Schools since October 2012, leading a team responsible for building ETLs and R/Python scripts, as well as database schema design and implementation. Erik previously served as the founding Quality Assurance Manager, establishing a quality assurance unit, and held positions as a Data Researcher and Resident Researcher, where Erik initiated a data warehouse project in Amazon Web Services. Prior to New Visions, Erik worked as a Project Associate at Cora Group, Inc., and as a Business Development Associate at A-1 First Class-Viking Moving & Storage, Inc. Erik holds a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from CUNY-Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
