Michelle Durante has a strong background in arts and management. Michelle began their career in 2005 as an Office Manager at the Long Island Arts Council. Michelle then worked as an Office Manager at Creative Alternatives of New York from 2006-2008. From 2008-2010, they served as an Account Executive at dcm, Inc. Following that, Michelle joined the Jose Limon Dance Foundation as a General Manager from 2010-2011. Michelle then worked as an Educational Liaison at Dancing Classrooms Long Island from 2012-2015. In 2011, Michelle became the Director of the Arts at New York Edge. Additionally, they have experience as a dancer at Tina Croll + Company since 2007.
Michelle Durante completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance at LIU Post from 2001 to 2005.

From building partnerships with high-profile organizations like the Mets, Knicks, and Columbia University Medical School, to creating volunteer opportunities for professionals to meet and develop relationships with students, to training our staff to be empathetic and involved, New York Edge ensures that students have plenty of role models and supportive adults in their lives.
