Francesco Biancardi has extensive experience in energy market design and resource integration, currently serving as a Market Design Specialist at NYISO since July 2019, with a focus on both Energy Market Design and New Resource Integration. Prior to this role, Francesco worked at Eversource Energy from June 2018 to June 2019 as a Project Manager, where responsibilities included managing Distributed Resource interconnection requests and associated engineering studies. Additional experience includes a consulting role for the Residential Solar Investment Program at CT Green Bank and an internship at the same organization. Francesco holds a Master of Science in Applied and Resource Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, with a concentration in Resource Economics, both from the University of Connecticut, where also a Minor in Environmental Economics and Policy was completed.
