Hossein Lotfi, MBA, PhD, serves as a Senior Energy Market Operations Engineer at NYISO since May 2019, focusing on improving market operations and supporting energy management systems. Prior to this role, Hossein worked as a Research/Teaching Assistant at the University of Denver, contributing to various projects related to microgrids and energy markets. Previous experience includes positions at OPAL-RT Technologies as an Electrical Engineer Intern, and several consulting roles in project management and B2B marketing for Iranian companies. Hossein holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
