Nathaniel Gilbraith currently serves as the Manager of Energy Market Design and previously held the position of Resource Adequacy and ICAP Specialist at the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) since July 2015. Prior to this role, Nathaniel was a Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2012 to July 2015, focusing on technology-society interface issues. Nathaniel's academic background includes a PhD in Energy Economics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master's degree in Environmental Science and Engineering, along with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, both from Clarkson University.
