Pramila Nirbhavane has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Manager of Energy Security and Grid Transition at NYISO since September 2013. Prior roles at NYISO include Manager of System Modeling and Senior Engineer positions in Grid Operations and Operations Engineering. Prior to joining NYISO, Pramila worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Washington State University and gained hands-on experience as a Summer Intern at Siemens Industry Inc. In the earlier stages of the career, Pramila served as an Assistant Manager in Transmission Planning at Reliance Infrastructure Limited. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems from Washington State University.
