Jessica Silvester is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as a Senior Editor and Shopping Editor at New York Magazine since September 2012, Jessica previously held the position of Assistant Editor at O, The Oprah Magazine from January 2009 to September 2012. Early in the career, Jessica worked as a Retail Reporter for WestView News from October 2008 to September 2011 and held roles in public relations as a Senior Publicist at Simon and Schuster and a Publicity Assistant at Penguin Group USA. Jessica earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the College of the Holy Cross in 2004, with an educational background that includes attending Hackley from 1992 to 2000.
