John Buzon

John Buzon is an experienced video colorist and flame assistant with a comprehensive background in post-production and visual effects. Currently, John serves as a Video Colorist at the New York Philharmonic, focusing on restoring archival symphonic pieces for digital media streaming. Concurrently, John has been a Flame Assist at Timber VFX since January 2020, previously holding similar roles at S H A P E + L I G H T and Psyop, where responsibilities included assisting with conforming, compositing, versioning, and delivering broadcast media. Earlier experience includes roles as a DMG & Vault Manager at a global post-production facility and service parts coordinator positions at Melrose MAC and Tekserve. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photographic and Film/Video Technology from Columbia College Chicago.
